Azalee
Ramses Kora

Azalee Ramses Kora as a foal
Sometimes hidden gems are the most rare and special.
That is what this mare is. Azalee's sire is an unpromoted look-alike son
in height as well as beauty of the well known champion and sire of
champions *Ibn El Balad, one of the tallest Arabians ever imported from
Egypt (now deceased). Wizard's dam, Sundar Omariyah, is a daughter of the
champion stallion, Ansata Omar Halim who was exported, and out of BKA
Aliyyah, a daughter of the famous reserve national champion, Ruminaja Ali
who died leaving only 3 offspring, one lost to the registry and the other
two, including Sundar Omariyah, exported.
Azalee's Dam, Ramses Kora, is equally
special. Kora was one of only three *Lancer Sahm offspring bred by the
famous Plum Grove Farm, the only mare, and the only one who's offspring
are continuing to produce. Kora's most famous offspring, RAMSES CAMELIA,
was the second highest selling filly at the Pyramid Society's Breeders'
Sale VII for the closing price of $90,000 as a yearling and placed first
at the Calcutta Filly Fantasia class before being sold out of the country.
Azalee will probably be the last offspring from Kora.
